Legasee is a team of volunteer film makers, writers and military enthusiasts who are passionate about capturing our military heritage in an increasingly fast-moving consumer society.
Martin Bisiker - Trustee and Founder
Martin Bisiker is our Treasurer, our key ideas man and the most active and passionate of our Trustees. Martin has over 15 years’ experience of producing and directing programmes both for the main terrestrial TV channels and many of Britain’s best known companies. He is also a member of the Oral History Association, a member of the Archive and Records Association and leads our filming and education projects.
Ellen Clark - Business Development Director
For the past fifteen years Ellen has worked with a number of Britain’s most well known charities including Age UK. She has a proven track record in developing their services and accessing the funding required to carry out some truly amazing work.
Darren Richards - Managing Director
Darren is the Creative Director of a Global Design Agency and contributes his skills in design, marketing and PR to the charity.
James Butler - Trustee
James has a long standing interest in military history and is Partner of a successful chain of Independent Estate Agents. James provides considerable business expertise to the charity and leads our sustainability and business planning.
David Davies - Archives Assistant
Dave supports the development and maintenance of our digital resources;including the updating of our CMS, the archiving of veteran's photos and the transcribing of veteran interviews. Dave who was a Gun-fitter with the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers is employed with Legasee through the Poppy Factory's back to work sponsorship scheme.
Legasee rely on the hard work and good will of our team of volunteers. They assist us on a wide range of production and administrative duties and ensure our running costs are kept to a minimum so we can spend more time interviewing more veterans.
