Jean-Louis Crémieux-Brilhac was a senior intelligence officer with de Gaulle in London. He created coded text for the BBC French service broadcasts. Post-war he became a French politician, historian and writer who wrote the forward to the French edition of Professor MRD Foot’s SOE history. (int Jean was interviewed by Matthew Cobb).
